BMW Vision Concept

BMW’s Efficient Dynamics technology seems to be popping up in everything BMW produce. The latest vehicle bearing the BMW logo and using the ED technology is the Vision Concept that was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Vision concept is capable of M-like performance but it does this with very low emmissions and amazing economy figures of 63mpg. The concept uses a 1.5L three-cylinder turbo diesel engine mated together with a complete hybrid powertrain and twin electric motors. A motor is placed on the front and rear axles and they are capable of producing 356bhp. The reported 0 – 100kmh time is 4.8 seconds.
