Honda CR-Z to be Showcased at Tokyo

Honda are set to showcase what they are calling ‘The World’s First Sports Hybrid Car’ at the Tokyo Motor Show. The CR-Z concept was first unveiled in 2007 but the design has been somewhat revised with a large rear quarter window, new headlights and a new hood. The rear of the car now sports a new rear diffuser, much better looking tail lights and a new hatch design.

The car is powered by a 1.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine that is assisted by Honda’s innovative Integrated Motor Assist Technology. Honda say that the car is very near to the production line and we might see the first models hitting the roads as early as 2010.
